We were looking for a photographer to capture a traditional Iranian wedding ceremony. You know how invaluable a photographer is only after it’s all done. In his photographs, I saw moments that no one else saw; moments we missed in the excitement and the nervousness of the day. Almost nine years later, I look at the pictures and still wonder how someone, who’s not familiar with our customs, knew what nuances and moments to memorialize. He was everywhere…but ever so discreetly. Grateful to share these beautiful mementos with our children now. They are timeless.
